"Gotcha Day"
Lily's Library of Resources
I didn't start out knowing anything about discipline, patience, or trust. I learned it one day at a time through consistency, care, and the environment around me. At first, I reacted to everything. Every sound, every moment, every feeling. But over time, with structure and support, I learned how to pause… how to settle… how to trust what was being built in me.
Lily's Library isn't about being perfect. It's about becoming. Growth doesn't happen all at once. It happens in small, repeated moments that don't always feel significant at the time. But they are. Discipline isn't about forcing yourself. It's about building something you can return to, even when it's hard.
You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to stay committed to the process. Who you're becoming is built by what you consistently come back to. Welcome to the Library. Stay as long as you need.
How to Use This Section
You’re not here to watch everything.
You’re here to find what meets you where you are.
Each clip below reflects a moment of discipline.
Not perfection. Not intensity. Just commitment in real time.
Return to what resonates.
That’s where the work is.
Power of Partnership
None of what I am happened alone. The same is probably true for you.
Lily agrees with Jason Fladlien’s perspective on the Power of Partnership:
“Stop treating customers like dollar signs and empower them like real people and watch what happens.”
Power of People
The ones who got close enough to know me are the ones who taught me the
most. These are some of the voices that taught Jason.
Lily agrees with Nick Saban’s perspective on the Power of People:
“Who you are is more important than what you do.”
Power of Presence
I learned that I didn’t have to be fixed before I could be loved. I had to be here.
Lily agrees with Dr. Julie Smith’s perspective on the Power of Presence:
“The time will pass anyway, whether you’re present for it or not.”
Power of Potential
I didn’t know what I was capable of until someone trusted me to find out. The
right partner sees what’s possible before you do.
Lily agrees with Jim Rohn’s perspective on the Power of Potential:
“The ambition to preside over much, but do it so that everybody wins.”
Power of Perseverance
The hardest part was never the training. It was the days nothing seemed to be
working. These are videos for those days.
Lily agrees with Kobe Bryant’s perspective on the Power of Perseverance:
“You just put one foot in front of the other. You control what you can. You train as hard as you can. You step out there and let it flow.”
Power of Patience
Some things take longer than you expect. That doesn’t mean they’re not
happening.
Lily agrees with Mel Robbins’ perspective on the Power of Patience:
“You’re not behind. You’re not late.”
Power of Preparation
I learned the routine before I understood it. By the time I needed it, it was
already part of me.
Lily agrees with Jerry Seinfeld’s perspective on the Power of Preparation:
“Your only focus should be on getting better at what you’re doing.”
Power of Progress
The first time I sat still on command, I didn’t know it counted. It did. Every small
win does.
Lily agrees with Bill Ackman’s perspective on the Power of Progress:
“Just make a little progress every day. Progress compounds.”
Power of Performance
Real performance isn’t a feeling. It’s the result of all the quiet days that came
before.
Lily agrees with Dr. Shade Zahrai’s perspective on the Power of Performance:
“Attention is the gatekeeper of your future.”
Power of Passion
I am most myself when I’m doing what I was made to do. I think you know what
that feels like too.
Lily agrees with Angela Lee Duckworth’s perspective on the Power of Passion:
“Grit is passion and perseverance for very long-term goals... Growth mindset is a great idea for building grit.”
Come Back Anytime
There will be days when this feels harder than it should.
When motivation isn’t there.
When progress feels slow.
That’s when this matters most.
Not to restart.
But to remind yourself what you’re building.
The investment isn’t in the content.
It’s in who you become by returning to it.
Come back as often as you’d like. Whenever you want to talk, I’m here.
